Jules Neale has been seen in public for the first time since her rumoured return to Western Australia, following the dramatic breakdown of her marriage to Brisbane Lions AFL star Lachie Neale.
First Public Appearance Since Split
Jules Neale, originally from Perth, was photographed meeting friends at a café this week. The sighting comes just weeks after she was seen tearfully moving out of the marital home she shared with Lachie earlier in January 2026.
In images published by the Daily Mail, Jules appeared to be in good spirits, laughing and smiling while chatting with companions at an outdoor venue. She was dressed in all-black activewear, accessorised with gold jewellery, and sipped an iced latte. She was also seen loading a large brown leather bag into a white 4WD.
Gym Sighting Fuels Affair Speculation
The café visit occurred just one day after reports emerged that Lachie Neale and Jules' former friend, Tess Crosley, were seen together at the same luxury gym in Brisbane's Newstead precinct. A fellow gym-goer told news.com.au that the pair were "openly affectionate" and "did not try to hide it."
The source stated, "I go to Total Fusion gym where Lachie is a member, and for months he has been very affectionate... with that Tess woman."
Marriage Breakdown and Fallout
Jules and Lachie Neale's seven-year marriage ended in December 2025. The split became public after Jules posted about the couple working through relationship issues. Lachie, who stepped down as co-captain of the Brisbane Lions, confirmed the separation earlier this month.
In a statement, he said, "While I won’t go into specifics, I can say that I have let my family down and I apologise for my actions that have let down those that are closest to me."
It is believed Jules has now relocated to Perth with the couple's two children. Lachie's future on the east coast is uncertain as he is out of contract with the Lions at the end of the 2026 season. Lions coach Chris Fagan has said Lachie would have his "blessing" to return to Western Australia to be near his children if he decides not to remain in Brisbane.
