Social media influencer Costeen Hatzi has publicly confirmed her plans to attend the Australian Open in Melbourne, framing the upcoming tournament as a fresh experience following the end of her long-term relationship with tennis firebrand Nick Kyrgios.
A New Chapter at Melbourne Park
During a candid Instagram Stories Q&A session this week, the 25-year-old was asked by a follower if she would be going to the Grand Slam event. Hatzi responded enthusiastically, stating she would be heading to Melbourne at the end of the week. She expressed her eagerness to see the tournament from a different perspective, telling fans she "can't wait to experience the AO in a new light."
This update comes several months after Hatzi and Kyrgios quietly ended their four-year romance. The split was first reported by the Herald Sun back in May 2025. Addressing the breakup directly with her followers, Hatzi described the relationship as having simply run its natural course.
Candid Reflections on the Breakup
"We haven't spoken. Relationships come to an end," Hatzi shared. "I believe it's for the best. I definitely entered the relationship with pure intentions." She reflected fondly on their connection, saying, "I loved him and I thought we had a great connection."
The influencer highlighted the personal positives that have emerged since the separation, noting a renewed focus on herself. "Now that I'm not travelling, I can do what I want and be fully present," she explained, indicating a shift in her lifestyle post-split.
Fashion, Friends, and Tennis
While she will still be watching tennis, Hatzi revealed her trip to the Australian Open will have a significant fashion component. "I'm going with some incredible Australian fashion and beauty brands — and, of course, watching a little tennis too!" she said.
In the same Q&A, Hatzi also disclosed which tennis WAG (wives and girlfriends) she maintains the closest friendship with. She named Hannah Dal Sasso, the former partner of Thanasi Kokkinakis. "I love them all. All beautiful people, but I see Hannah the most as she's in Aus with me," Hatzi shared. Dal Sasso and Kokkinakis reportedly parted ways in late 2025.
Hatzi's attendance at one of Australia's premier sporting events marks her first major public appearance since the end of her high-profile relationship, signalling a confident step into her post-Kyrgios life.
