Australia's 2025 Eurovision entrant Go-Jo has divided the song contest's fans and the internet after he returned to the stage at this year's show for a wild and wacky interval performance.
The 30-year-old singer from Manjimup, real name Marty Zambotto, featured during the first semi-final on Wednesday to perform a five-minute song about the differences between Australia and this year's host country, Austria.
Go-Jo, dressed in his signature skin-tight outfit and silver platform shoes, was joined onstage by Eurovision hosts Michael Ostrowski and Victoria Swarovski, where they began debating over each country's differing size, climate and wildlife.
The trio then belted out the song's chorus, singing: "Opposites, we've had enough of this / There ain't no more room for failure / Austria, Australia!" they sang.
"So we are the opposites / Tell the world we are opposites / We are day and night / So how can you confuse us?"
The song soon transformed into a rap with Australian and Austrian-dressed dancers performing alongside a human-sized kangaroo mascot.
While the spectacle received thunderous applause from the live audience, Go-Jo and his act were questioned by viewers on X.
"I hate that Eurovision is just recycling old jokes. They did the whole Austria-Australia bid last time Austria won," one viewer said.
Another said: "We brought this intermission medley song on ourselves for letting Australia compete."
Some people even went as far to say Go-Jo's performance could impact Australia's 2026 entrant Delta Goodrem at winning.
"If I was Delta I would get my PR team ahead of this and distance myself from that Australia interval act," another added.
However other viewers weren't as harsh saying Go-Jo's song was the "best song" from semi-final one and were excited to see the Aussie back on the global stage.
Goodrem is set to perform her song Eclipse during the second semi-final on Friday morning.
