Former Reality TV Contestant Charged with Multiple Sexual Offences

A former reality television contestant is confronting serious sexual offence charges, with allegations spanning several years. Police assert that Riccardo Valenza, who appeared on the show FBoy Island Australia, sexually harassed and assaulted multiple women aged between 26 and 35 across the Sunshine Coast region.

Details of the Alleged Crimes and Arrest

Authorities claim that the 31-year-old used social media platforms to approach victims between July 2023 and November 2025. It is alleged that he solicited sexual activity in exchange for money before engaging in grooming and assaulting the women. Valenza was arrested on Brisbane Road on Monday afternoon and appeared via video link before the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Tuesday, where he did not enter pleas to any of the charges.

Breakdown of the 38 Charges Filed

Valenza has been charged with a total of 38 offences, which include 11 counts of rape, six counts of stalking, two counts of sexual assault, and one count of administering a stupefying drug. Additionally, he faces two counts of breaching bail and other charges linked to the ongoing investigation.

Police Urge Victims to Come Forward

Acting Senior Sergeant Tim Harris addressed the media, urging anyone within the community who believes they may have been a victim to report the incidents. "If anyone within our community believes they may have been a victim of this male person, police urge them to report it so these matters can be thoroughly investigated," he stated. Harris also warned the public to remain vigilant online, noting that "we don't always know who we are talking to on social media, and platforms can be used to commit offences."

The case highlights concerns about online safety and the potential misuse of social media for criminal activities. Authorities continue to investigate, and further updates are expected as the legal proceedings progress.
