Rhea Seehorn squirms as Bryan Cranston grills her on camera

Rhea Seehorn was left visibly flustered as Bryan Cranston grilled her on her TV show and personal life during a recent sit-down interview.

Appearing on the latest episode of CNN and Variety's Actors on Actors series, the Breaking Bad star wanted the actress to spill on the hit sci-fi series Pluribus, but his prying left Seehorn shifting uncomfortably in her seat.

Cranston, 70, kicked off the questioning by asking Seehorn how long it took to shoot the critically acclaimed series created by Vince Gilligan, the same genius behind Breaking Bad. However, she was surprisingly hesitant to answer the question.

“We shoot … I don’t know if we’re allowed … Have they said …” the 54-year-old began while looking around the set. “You’re not allowed to say?” a confused Cranston asked before telling her, “I say you’re allowed to say, but we’ll cut it if you’re not allowed to say.” He then faced the camera and jokingly mouthed, “No, we won’t,” imploring them to keep rolling even if Seehorn wanted the comments cut from the episode.

“OK, we’ll cut it if we’re not allowed to say?” she asked someone on set before answering the question to reveal, “We shoot for 10 or 11 months.” Cranston was taken aback with her response, given that it reportedly took between seven and nine months to film his series Breaking Bad. “Wooh,” he replied. “How many days per episode do you have then?” “Umm, it varied,” Seehorn replied, looking too uncomfortable to continue. “We should skip this. See, it’s gonna … I do want that cut,” she told someone on set. “It just makes Vince sound like … people don’t understand it.”

Cranston was on a roll as elsewhere in the interview he ribbed Seehorn over her 11-year engagement to film producer and real estate agent Graham Larson. When Cranston pointed out that they were “both happily married” – he has been married to Magnum, P.I. actress Robin Dearden since 1989 – Seehorn was quick to clarify that she and Larson have yet to make it official. “So you’re not quite sure if it’s gonna happen?” he asked, to which Seehorn said, “We’re sort of just working it out.” Taking on a more serious note, she said, “No, it’s literally – the planning … it gives me hives. We’ve been together for 13 [years] and engaged for like 11-and-a-half.”

Cranston laughed and said, “I find that funny,” to which she politely replied, “It is funny.” When the actor asked what was “holding that up”, she took on a more serious note in her reply. “He’s been married before, so he doesn’t need a big wedding. I would just like a small celebration though, like with friends, but I …” she continued before trailing off and cracking up. “We don’t need to talk about this.” “We’re gonna do it right here,” Cranston then joked. “Graham’s gonna come out.” Seehorn explained that she wants to “invite everyone that means something to me, and that includes a lot of people I’ve worked with”. “Mostly just Vince Gilligan is the problem,” she joked. “I’m just waiting on his schedule, is all that I’m waiting on.”
