Kim Kardashian Snubs F1 Journalist at Monaco GP

Reality star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian has faced criticism after appearing to snub a journalist during an awkward live television encounter at the Monaco Grand Prix.

Kim was in Monaco alongside her sister Khloé to support legendary Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, with whom she has been romantically linked since February. The pair recently appeared to confirm their relationship on social media, with Kim sharing footage of them riding bicycles together on Instagram just last week.

This marked Kim’s first race appearance as Hamilton’s partner, drawing significant attention to the reality TV star. During the famous pre-race grid walk, veteran Sky Sports reporter Martin Brundle approached the Kardashian sisters hoping to secure a quick interview.

However, when Brundle asked Kim how she was doing and whether she was enjoying the atmosphere, the Skims founder appeared to ignore his questions. “Normally, people will have a quick chat with us. Are you enjoying F1?” Brundle inquired. Receiving no response, the former F1 driver quipped to the camera: “So, we’re not talking today?”

The exchange quickly went viral online, with many viewers criticizing Kim for what they perceived as a “massive snub” of one of the sport’s most recognizable broadcasters. Others defended the reality star, arguing that there is no obligation for the partners, wives, or girlfriends of drivers to participate in media interviews on race day.

Other celebrities in attendance at the star-studded event included Catherine Zeta-Jones, her husband Michael Douglas, and Olivia Wilde. Kim and Khloé arrived in Monaco by boat on Friday and were spotted throughout the weekend supporting Hamilton. After the race, Hamilton appeared to acknowledge Kim from the podium, blowing a kiss in her direction while she watched proudly and captured the moment on her phone.
