Kylie Minogue, Cate Blanchett shine at London Fashion Awards 2025

The Royal Albert Hall in London was transformed into a glittering hub of style and philanthropy on Monday night, as The Fashion Awards 2025 brought together a constellation of stars, with Australian icons Kylie Minogue and Cate Blanchett leading the charge from Down Under.

Aussie Icons Grace the Pandora-Showcased Gala

Presented by Pandora, the bedazzled event served as a crucial fundraiser for the BFC Foundation, which is dedicated to nurturing the growth of Britain's fashion industry. The annual celebration honours both emerging talents and established cultural leaders who shape the global fashion landscape.

Kylie Minogue, 57, made a stunning entrance on the red carpet, captivating onlookers in a pristine white Loewe dress complemented by a classic pearl necklace and her signature golden locks. The pop legend is no stranger to the gala, having delivered a memorable performance of her hit Slow in 2021 in a striking black floral catsuit.

Fellow Australian powerhouse Cate Blanchett brought her own brand of sophisticated glamour to the proceedings, demonstrating why she remains a perennial favourite on best-dressed lists worldwide.

Star-Studded Nights and Celebrity Moments

The awards ceremony united a host of famous British faces, including musicians Lily Allen and Rita Ora. Rising star Raye provided a musical highlight, sparkling in silver as she performed her 2025 smash hit, Where is my husband!

The red carpet was also a stage for personal milestones. An ethereal Sienna Miller proudly debuted her baby bump, expecting her third child, while singer Ellie Goulding was also radiant, awaiting her second. Sharon Stone made a timeless statement in a luxurious fur, and TV personality Chrishell Stause turned heads in a sleek, strapless white gown.

Honouring Fashion's Finest

The night was also about recognising creative excellence. Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, the budding model and daughter of Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman, took to the stage to present the prestigious Designer of the Year award to Jonathan Anderson for his work with Dior and JW Anderson.

In other major categories, Sarah Burton clinched British Womenswear Designer of the Year, and Grace Wales Bonner won the award for menswear. A particularly resonant moment came when South Sudanese-American model Anok Yai was named Model of the Year.

Anok Yai was celebrated not just for her remarkable career, but for her powerful advocacy for more inclusive beauty standards and her dedicated championing of Black representation within the global fashion industry.

The Fashion Awards 2025 successfully blended celebrity spectacle with a core mission of support, ensuring the spotlight shone both on the dazzling looks of the night and on the future of fashion creativity in Britain.
