Phil Hoffmann Travel Brings World Travel Fest to Perth in 2026
World Travel Fest Perth: Major Travel Event Arrives in WA

Western Australian travellers are set for a major new event on the calendar, with the highly successful World Travel Fest expanding from Adelaide to Perth for the first time.

Premier Travel Event Lands in the West

The acclaimed South Australian agency, Phil Hoffmann Travel, is bringing its celebrated World Travel Fest to the Parmelia Hilton Perth on February 22, 2026. This marks a significant expansion for the event, which has become a staple in Adelaide, regularly attracting over 4000 travel enthusiasts.

A spokesperson for the company highlighted the move: "World Travel Fest has quickly become one of South Australia’s premier travel events. While our inaugural World Travel Fest Perth will be more boutique in scale, we’re thrilled to bring the same energy, expertise, and sense of connection to WA."

What Perth Travellers Can Expect

The Perth edition will feature around 13 leading travel companies, offering a curated but high-quality experience. Attendees will have the chance to engage directly with major brands including cruise giants Princess and Viking, touring specialists Collette and APT, as well as Imagine Cruising, Inspiring Vacations and Travel Corporation companies.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with Perth travellers, showcase the wide range of products, knowledge, and immersive experiences offered by our team and partners, and help locals embark on their next adventure of a lifetime," the spokesperson added.

The Legacy Behind the Brand

The event is backed by the formidable reputation of Phil Hoffmann Travel. Founded by Phil Hoffmann in Glenelg in 1990 with just two staff, the agency has grown into an industry powerhouse. Its remarkable accolades include winning the National Best Travel Agent Award 13 times and being named CLIA's "Large Cruise Agency of the Year" on multiple occasions.

Phil Hoffmann was a pioneer in cruise travel, opening Australia’s first dedicated cruise centre over 30 years ago. Although he retired from daily operations in June 2025, he remains in an ambassadorial role and on the board. Day-to-day leadership is now under Chief Executive Officer Peter Williams, who joined the company in 1993.

The family-owned business now employs more than 200 people across its nine branches in South Australia and has even established a remote team in Perth, signalling its commitment to the Western Australian market.

A New Chapter for WA Travel

The arrival of World Travel Fest in Perth provides a dedicated platform for West Australians to explore a concentrated offering of premium travel experiences. It underscores the growing demand for high-touch, expert-led travel planning in the state.

The company's spokesperson pointed to its consistent philosophy as the key to its success and the event's potential: "Dedication and consistency in delivering the specific needs of the traveller have earned the company an enviable reputation." For Perth's travel community, February 2026 now promises to be a landmark date for inspiration and exclusive deals.
