WA Mack Muster and Truck Show Returns to Quarry Farm on March 22

The WA Mack Muster and Truck Show is making a highly anticipated comeback on March 22 at Quarry Farm in Whitby, just south of Byford. This biennial event, which runs from 10am to 4pm, is expected to draw a massive crowd with more than 350 big rigs on display, all aimed at raising crucial funds for cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.

Fundraising Success and Community Impact

Since its inception in 2020 as a volunteer-run, grassroots initiative, the show has raised an impressive total of over $850,000 for medical research. The 2026 edition is proudly sponsored by Rentco Transport Equipment Rentals, highlighting the strong support from the transport industry. Event chairperson Matt Lawrence emphasized the deeper purpose, stating, "We're not just pulling together another truck show. We're honouring the transport industry, inspiring the next generation, and supporting life-changing medical research."

Spectacular Truck Line-Up and Activities

Attendees can look forward to an extraordinary array of vehicles, including rare collectibles like the 1988 Bicentennial Mack Super-Liner, along with the Ultra-Liner and Titan models. The show will feature classics from Kenworth, such as the T904, T909, T604, and W-Model, as well as popular models from Freightliner, including the Coronado, and Western Star's powerful 4800. European brands like Scania (R 540), Volvo (FH16), and Mercedes-Benz will also be represented, alongside vintage American icons like the legendary White Road Boss.

Highlights of the day include the crowd-favorite "big rig roars" at 11am and 1pm, where trucks will sound their air horns to echo across the valley. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to climb aboard many vehicles and meet the owners who keep Australia moving. Additional activities include a kids' zone, food trucks, and licensed bars, ensuring entertainment for all ages.
