Broome Tourism Season Set to Begin with Expanded Tours and Flights

Western Australia's Australian Pinnacle Tours is preparing to launch its highly anticipated Broome season, which will run from April 1 to November 30, 2026. This exciting development coincides with Virgin Australia's decision to significantly boost its flight services to the region, enhancing accessibility for travellers from across the country.

Comprehensive Tour Offerings

The tour company will provide a diverse range of full-day and half-day coach tours, allowing visitors to explore Broome's most iconic attractions. Key destinations on the itinerary include the renowned Willie Creek Pearl Farm, the popular Spinifex Brewing Co, and Sun Pictures, which holds the distinction of being the world's oldest operating picture gardens. These tours are designed to offer an immersive experience into the local culture and natural beauty of the area.

Additionally, the full-day tour will take guests to Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, Australia's oldest operating pearl farm. Here, visitors can gain insights into the rich heritage of the local Bardi Jawi people, purchase authentic local art at the Ardyloon Hatchery, admire the famous shell church at Beagle Bay, and engage with the Aboriginal community at Lombadina. This comprehensive approach ensures travellers receive a deep and meaningful connection to the region's history and traditions.

Natural Phenomena and Increased Accessibility

The timing of Australian Pinnacle Tours' season is perfectly aligned with Broome's spectacular "Staircase to the Moon" natural phenomenon. This breathtaking event occurs two or three days each month between March and October, as the moon rises over the expansive mudflats, creating a stunning visual effect that attracts visitors from around the globe. The tours are strategically scheduled to allow guests to witness this marvel during their stay.

From April 1, Virgin Australia will increase its Perth-Broome flights to 17 services per week, marking a substantial enhancement in travel options. This boost in flight frequency is expected to facilitate greater tourist influx, supporting the local economy and making it easier for travellers to access Broome's unique offerings.

Experienced Tour Leaders and Additional Services

Leading the tours once again are the popular partners Claudio Dei Giudici and Lillian Bayliss, who are returning by popular demand. "We are both very excited to start the season in Broome," they expressed enthusiastically. They are particularly looking forward to the town sunset tours on Cable Beach, where guests can enjoy wine and nibbles against the backdrop of a spectacular sunset.

"We're also looking forward to travelling the Dampier Peninsula and visiting old friends in the communities, seeing the beautiful coastline with the pristine waters, and watching the awesome tides that surge through King Sound," they added, highlighting the diverse experiences available.

Beyond the standard tours, Pinnacle Travel Group offers a fleet of five vehicles in Broome for private charter through Pinnacle Coachlines. The group also operates small group expedition cruise companies, Kimberley Quest and The Great Escape Charter Co, providing additional adventure options for travellers. During the off-season, Claudio and Lillian worked at Lancelin 4x4 Adventures, which is also managed by APT, showcasing their year-round commitment to tourism in Western Australia.
