Samsung has officially launched its highly anticipated Black Friday sales campaign, kicking off exclusive offers that are available right now for Australian shoppers. The tech giant's website features these special deals from November 12 until November 19, with additional discounts expected later in the month as the shopping frenzy intensifies.
Australian Shopping Habits Revealed
New research commissioned by Samsung reveals that 93 per cent of surveyed Australians plan to browse or shop the Black Friday sales this year. The data shows nearly half of all shoppers (47 per cent) are prepared to spend up to five hours hunting for perfect deals both online and in physical stores.
According to a Samsung spokesperson, consumers are approaching this key sales period with clear strategies. "Black Friday as a key sales period has been established for a number of years meaning that consumers approach this moment prepared with a budget, products and specifications in mind that will see them gain an upgraded experience at a competitive price point," the spokesperson explained.
Massive Savings Across Mobile and Tablets
Shoppers looking for new mobile devices can save $400 on the Galaxy Z Fold7 or $100 on the Galaxy A56 5G. Tablet enthusiasts have even more reason to celebrate with massive discounts on Samsung's premium tablet range.
The standout deal appears on the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, where customers can save a whopping $400. The regular Galaxy Tab S11 also receives significant price reductions with $300 savings available.
These productivity powerhouses pack powerful AI features in super slim, lightweight designs. With massive displays and charge-less, hexagon-shaped pens, both Galaxy Tab S11 models serve as creative companions when inspiration strikes unexpectedly.
Television Deals Lead the Charge
Televisions remain a cornerstone of Samsung's Black Friday offerings, with The Frame TV series expected to be among the fastest-selling items. Australians have shown remarkable appetite for these art-inspired displays, purchasing more Frame TVs per capita than any other country globally.
"Once they own one, Australians are likely to purchase another," the Samsung spokesperson revealed. "We expect the same appetite for this TV range in 2025 – especially with the introduction of The Frame Pro taking this series to the next level."
Significant television discounts include:
- Save $300 on the 55” The Frame 4K Vision AI Smart TV
- Save $500 on the Samsung 85” Neo QLED 4K Vision AI Smart TV
- 65” The Frame Pro 4K Samsung Vision AI Smart TV reduced from $3499 to $2999
- 85” The Frame Pro 4K Samsung Vision AI Smart TV discounted from $5999 to $4999
The company anticipates strong demand for large-screen TV experiences, particularly models 75 inches and above, as consumers seek upgraded viewing experiences while staying within budget constraints.
Smart Appliances and Future Trends
Beyond entertainment devices, Samsung's Black Friday deals extend to smart home appliances featuring advanced AI capabilities. The spokesperson highlighted energy savings as a major drawcard for 2025 appliances.
"Energy savings is the biggest draw card with 2025 appliances like washing machines and refrigerators able to learn family routines and usage preferences to help reduce the mental load and pressure on purse strings," they said.
Robot vacuum cleaners are also predicted to be hot items as Australians increasingly embrace the convenience of smart connected appliances. The spokesperson advised consumers to consider navigation capabilities and security features when selecting robot vacuums.
Independent research from Afterpay supports the growing sophistication of Australian shoppers, with 56 per cent spreading costs and 45 per cent waiting for sales on big-ticket items. Black Friday emerged as the biggest shopping day of 2024, with nearly 40 per cent of Australians cashing in on Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals last year.
Shoppers can explore Samsung's complete Black Friday offerings on the company's official website, with the current exclusive deals running until November 19 before potentially being replaced by new discounts later in the month.
