Siren Gold Discovers Broader Gold System at Flagship New Zealand Project

Siren Gold has unveiled promising results from its Sams Creek gold project in New Zealand, revealing a more extensive gold system than previously thought. The company's latest drilling efforts have identified multiple gold deposits along a 7km-long dyke, with new intercepts indicating significant potential for resource expansion.

New Drilling Highlights at Doyles Fold

Recent drilling at the Doyles fold area, located 500 meters west of the Main Zone resource, has yielded a 19-meter hit grading 1.3 grams per tonne (g/t) gold. This includes a 9-meter section with a solid 1.86g/t gold grade. A second hole drilled 75 meters to the northwest intercepted 20 meters at 0.51g/t gold, supporting the structural integrity of the gold-bearing system.

These findings are notable as Doyles sits outside the current mineral resource envelope, challenging the notion that Sams Creek is limited to a single fold. Earlier deep drilling had already traced mineralization 700 meters below surface and 1.5km from the mapped outcrop, but the latest holes bring this story closer to the surface, providing a clearer structural understanding for future drilling campaigns.

Resource Potential and Development Progress

The Sams Creek project currently holds a JORC resource of 824,400 ounces at an impressive 2.82g/t gold, primarily focused on the Main Zone. However, with 90% of drilling to date concentrated there, the broader 7km dyke—ranging from 10 to 60 meters in thickness and extending at least 1km down-dip—remains largely untested. This opens up opportunities at high-priority folds such as Riordan’s, Western Outcrops, Anvil, and Barrons Flat.

Management is actively working to advance the project, with an infill drilling campaign at the SE Traverse and Carapace prospects aimed at upgrading these areas to the indicated category. So far, 15 holes of infill drilling are complete, putting the effort roughly halfway to completion. Historical intercepts support the project's high-grade nature, including 37m at 3.26g/t gold in the Main Zone and 9.48m at 9.5g/t gold at Carapace.

Broader Portfolio and Future Outlook

Beyond Sams Creek, Siren Gold is exploring other assets to diversify its portfolio. At Queen Charlotte in Marlborough, the company has outlined gold and antimony mineralization across a 12km shear zone, with recent surface sampling returning results up to 4.6g/t gold and 26.2% antimony. Similarly, the Langdons project, 50km southwest of Reefton, has shown high-grade samples, including float samples with up to 506g/t gold and 21% antimony.

These exploration sidecars are expected to maintain news flow while Sams Creek progresses toward development. The mining permit application is under regulatory review, with an updated mineral resource estimate and scoping study targeted for the September quarter. Earlier technical work suggests potential recoveries of about 90% through flotation and leaching at a throughput of up to 1.25 million tonnes per annum.

Sams Creek, located 25km south of Takaka in Golden Bay on New Zealand's South Island, represents one of the country's most substantial undeveloped gold positions. With the Doyles discovery ringing the bell west of the Main Zone and only a fraction of the 7km dyke drill-tested, the next resource update could significantly redefine the project's scale, moving beyond the current 824,400-ounce headline.
