Australian Woman Who Accused US Twins of Sexual Assault Found Dead

A Sydney woman who accused high-profile New York twins Oren and Alon Alexander of sexual assault has been found dead near Sydney late last year, according to a spokesperson for the NSW Coroner. The cause of death is under investigation, and the woman, identified as Kate Whiteman, was 45 years old.

Whiteman filed a lawsuit in March 2024 alleging that the brothers sexually assaulted her at Sir Ivan’s Castle in the Hamptons in 2012 after meeting her at a New York nightclub. She claimed she was “terrified” of the twins and suffered extreme depression and anxiety following the alleged assault.

Court documents from July 2025 indicated that Whiteman sent explicit messages and photos to the Alexanders after the alleged rape, but her lawyers argued these were “cherrypicked” by the defense and that the account was misleading. Whiteman’s case prompted other women to come forward with similar allegations against the brothers and their older sibling, Tal Alexander.

In December 2024, the three brothers were charged with 11 counts of conspiracy to drug, sexually assault, and rape women in a sex-trafficking scheme spanning at least 14 years. Oren and Alon face an additional charge of sexual abuse by physical incapacitation. They have denied all charges, and their trial is set to begin on January 26.

Prosecutors allege the brothers used promises of luxury experiences to lure women, then drugged and assaulted them, often with multiple men involved. The alleged assaults date back to their high school days in Miami, where they reportedly boasted about gang rapes. The brothers face 15 years to life in prison if convicted.
