An 18-year-old woman is in a critical condition after an alleged sexual assault at a park in Casula, in Sydney's southwest. Police say the woman was found unconscious on Leacocks Lane around 1:45pm on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to the scene, and paramedics treated the woman before rushing her to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition. Police allege a man attacked the woman before leaving the park.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on nearby Canberra Avenue and charged with aggravated sexual assault. He was refused bail and is scheduled to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Wednesday.
