Summer Warne, daughter of late cricket legend Shane Warne, has detailed a heated altercation at an Ed Sheeran concert in Melbourne on Thursday night. The 24-year-old said she had water poured on her during a dispute over dancing in the crowd at Marvel Stadium.
Warne said she was dancing alongside her siblings Brooke and Jackson and friends when a person behind them angrily told her to sit down. The situation escalated when a woman, described as a 'Karen' around age 50, grabbed and pulled down her friend Charlotte. Later, a second woman poured water down Warne's pants.
In a TikTok video, Warne said: 'I got water poured all over my back and my a** crack tonight. I have never experienced something like this at a concert before in my life.' She said the woman denied the act despite smirking and laughing with another person.
Warne noted the emotional significance of the concert, as Ed Sheeran was a close friend of her father. She said Photograph was played at Shane Warne's private funeral and that Sheeran performed at his memorial at the MCG. 'I was already feeling a type of way,' she added.
Warne said she confronted the woman, calling her a 'f***ing cow,' and took a photo of her. She threatened to report the incident to Sheeran, saying: 'I showed her a photo of me and Ed from a couple years ago and I said, see that man right there. Yeah, I’m telling him everything that just happened.'
The video has been viewed over 110,000 times and liked nearly 5,000 times on TikTok.
