While Alex de Minaur will be absent, RAC Arena is still preparing to welcome a host of international tennis royalty. The powerhouse United States team, featuring the formidable duo of Coco Gauff and Taylor Fritz, will headline the action in Western Australia.

They are not the only big names coming to Perth. The city will also see the return of former world number one Naomi Osaka of Japan and Britain's Jack Draper, ensuring no shortage of world-class talent for local spectators.

The international team tournament is scheduled to commence on January 2. The official draw has placed the competing nations into groups for the initial round-robin stage.
