Tim David's 98* Blitz Powers UAE Bulls to Abu Dhabi T10 Title
WA's Tim David smashes 98* in T10 final triumph

Western Australian cricket sensation Tim David has cemented his reputation as one of the most explosive batters in world cricket after delivering two breathtaking performances to secure the Abu Dhabi T10 championship for UAE Bulls.

Final Match Masterclass

The powerful right-hander produced one of the most destructive innings in T10 history during the tournament decider, smashing an unbeaten 98 runs from just 30 deliveries to single-handedly steer his team to victory. David's incredible knock featured 12 massive sixes as he tore apart the opposition bowling attack in Abu Dhabi.

Record-Breaking Over Highlights Dominance

David's final heroics came hot on the heels of another spectacular display in the elimination match earlier the same day. In that game, he hammered 57 not out from merely 18 balls, with the highlight being an astonishing over where he took pace bowler Khuzaima Tanveer for 35 runs - one of the most expensive overs in the format's history.

Combining both innings, the West Australian powerhouse amassed 155 runs from just 48 balls across the two matches, maintaining a jaw-dropping strike rate of 323. His boundary count reached remarkable proportions with 19 sixes and 5 fours during his dominant display.

Tournament Honors and Homecoming

The performance earned David dual accolades, being named Player of the Match in the final and collecting the prestigious Player of the Tournament award. His timing couldn't be better as he now prepares to return to Australia to help the Hobart Hurricanes defend their Big Bash League title.

Fellow Western Australian cricketer AJ Tye also made his mark on the tournament, finishing as the leading wicket-taker with 13 scalps for Vista Riders during the fast-paced Abu Dhabi competition.
