Arrests Over Wild Car Chase
Four men have been arrested following a dramatic police chase through Adelaide. The incident began on Tuesday morning when police tracked an allegedly stolen ute approximately 70 kilometres from Murray Bridge to the city's inner west. The vehicle was eventually boxed in by PolAir on Anne Street in Thebarton.
The pursuit took a dramatic turn when one of the offenders fled from police and climbed onto the roof of a shopfront, sparking a tense standoff with officers. After negotiations, police managed to bring the man down from the roof and took him into custody. The three other suspects were arrested inside the stolen ute.
All four men remain in custody and are expected to face charges related to the incident. Police have not yet released their names or specific charges.
