Pregnant Woman Among Three Dead in NSW Regional Shooting, Gunman at Large

A pregnant woman is believed to be among the three people shot dead in a tragic incident in regional New South Wales, with the alleged gunman still at large as police launch a major manhunt.

Domestic Violence Incident Unfolds in Lake Cargelligo

Julian Ingram, 37, is believed to have shot dead his pregnant ex-partner and her new boyfriend in a car on Bokhara Street in Lake Cargelligo, located in the state's Central West region, on Thursday afternoon.

Ingram is then believed to have opened fire on her relatives at a nearby home, killing another woman and critically injuring a man in a violent escalation of the situation.

Police Issue Warrant and Public Warning

The gunman then allegedly fled in a car, prompting a significant police operation with a warrant issued for his arrest. New South Wales Police Assistant Commissioner Andrew Holland confirmed that Ingram was known to the victims and indicated that a domestic violence relationship was involved in the incident.

Police from both the western and southern regions have been called in for support, along with tactical police units and PolAir, to assist in the search efforts.

Description of Suspect and Vehicle

Assistant Commissioner Holland urged the public to help locate Ingram, also known as Pierpoint, and the vehicle he was last seen driving. He described Ingram as an Aboriginal male, about 165cm tall, with a medium build, short brown hair, and brown eyes.

Ingram was last seen driving his work ute, a Ford Ranger utility with New South Wales registration DM07GZ. The vehicle is described as having council signage, a metal tray back, high visibility markings on the side, and an emergency light bar on the roof.

Holland reiterated that the public should not approach Ingram, as he is believed to be armed and dangerous, posing a significant risk to community safety.
