Police in the Australian Capital Territory are appealing for public assistance to identify six teenagers following a violent incident at a Tuggeranong nail salon that left an employee with serious injuries.
Altercation Over Unpaid Services
The incident unfolded on Friday, October 24, 2025, at a salon within the South Point shopping centre in Tuggeranong. According to an ACT Policing spokeswoman, the altercation began when two teenage girls allegedly attempted to leave the premises without paying for nail treatments they had received.
When staff members confronted the pair, an argument escalated. It is alleged that during this confrontation, four other teenage girls became involved in the dispute. The situation turned physical, resulting in one salon employee sustaining serious facial injuries.
Police Release Images of Suspects
Investigators have now released images obtained from footage of the alleged attack and are asking for the community's help to identify two of the teenagers involved.
The first girl is described as Caucasian in appearance with a fair complexion and long dark brown hair worn in a ponytail. At the time of the incident, she was reportedly wearing a red T-shirt, dark shorts with white stripes on the sides, and black shoes.
The second girl is also described as Caucasian with a fair complexion and long dark hair. She was allegedly wearing a black jumper, black pants, and white shoes.
Appeal for Information
ACT Policing has urged anyone with information to come forward. "If you know who these girls are or have any information regarding the incident on 24 October, please contact Crime Stoppers ACT," the spokeswoman said. The public is asked to quote reference number 8198245 when providing information.
The investigation is ongoing as police work to locate all six individuals allegedly involved in the dispute that led to the staff member's serious injuries.
