Man Accused of Yanchep Bushland Murder Appears in Joondalup Court
A 30-year-old man has fronted court accused of a bushland murder in Perth's far north, following the discovery of a 27-year-old man's body in Yanchep earlier this week.
Court Appearance and Charges
Warren Robert Collard, of Rivervale, appeared in Joondalup Magistrates Court on Thursday, charged with murdering a man in Yanchep on March 1. He was not required to enter a plea during the brief hearing but indicated to Magistrate Raelene Johnston that he understood the charge against him.
Magistrate Johnston remanded Mr Collard in custody, with his next court appearance scheduled for March 18 at Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court. The accused was charged by police on Wednesday after a homicide investigation was launched into the death.
