Cairns District Court Sittings on May 25
The Cairns District Court has published its list of matters to be heard on Thursday, May 25. The schedule includes a variety of criminal and civil cases, with Judge Michael Burnett presiding over most proceedings.
Morning Session
The court will commence at 9:30 AM with case mentions and arraignments. Among the matters listed are:
- R v Smith: Charges of assault occasioning bodily harm. The defendant is expected to enter a plea.
