Police are appealing for public assistance to locate missing teenager Doc Lukey, who has not been seen for more than two weeks from Towradgi. The 15-year-old was last spotted on Dalton Street on the evening of Sunday, May 3.
Officers from the Wollongong Police District were notified of his disappearance on Friday, May 8, and have since been conducting inquiries into his whereabouts. A spokesperson for NSW Police stated, 'Police and family hold concerns for Doc's welfare due to his age as he requires regular medication.'
Doc is described as Caucasian with a small build, standing approximately 160 centimetres tall and weighing 50 kilograms. He has a black mullet-style haircut. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black Nike-brand shirt, black shorts with a white flower pattern, white Asics-brand shoes, and carrying a plastic bag.
Police have indicated that Doc is known to frequent the Wollongong, Lake Illawarra, and Nowra areas.
In addition to this case, authorities are also seeking information on long-term missing persons in the Illawarra region. Anyone with information regarding Doc Lukey or any other missing person is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
