Police Announce $250,000 Reward for Information on Fugitive Julian Ingram
Police have announced a substantial $250,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest of fugitive Julian Ingram, who is accused of murdering three individuals and an unborn child earlier this year. The 37-year-old, also known as Julian Pierpoint, has been evading authorities since his alleged shooting spree in Lake Cargelligo, located in the Central West region of New South Wales, on January 22.
Details of the Alleged Shooting Spree
Ingram is alleged to have shot and killed his heavily pregnant ex-partner, 25-year-old Sophie Quinn, and her friend, 32-year-old John Harris, while they were inside the back of Quinn's black Suzuki Swift. Following this, he reportedly drove a short distance to another location, where he is accused of opening fire and fatally shooting Quinn's aunt, 50-year-old Nerida Quinn, in the driveway of a residential property.
During the alleged attack, a friend of the victim's son, 19-year-old Kaleb Macqueen, was also seriously injured. Authorities have theorized that Ingram may have been motivated by discovering he was not the father of his ex-partner's unborn child, which could have triggered the violent spree.
Extensive Police Manhunt and Community Appeal
In the aftermath of the shootings, police launched a large-scale search operation involving specialist teams such as the State Crime Command, Tactical Operations Unit, and Rural Crime investigators. Despite these efforts, there has been no trace of the alleged killer, prompting the announcement of the $250,000 reward to encourage public assistance.
NSW Police Deputy Commissioner for Regional NSW Field Operations, Paul Pisanos, emphasized the importance of community involvement, stating, "This is about bringing a resolution to the families and all those affected. NSW Police is unrelenting in our quest to apprehend Ingram – but we need the community to come forward with any information that could assist."

Minister for Police and Counter-terrorism, Yasmin Catley, described the crime as "a shocking and brutal act of violence" and urged anyone with knowledge of Ingram's whereabouts to come forward. "If you know anything about his whereabouts, now is the time to speak up. Even the smallest piece of information could help police find him and ensure those responsible for this horrific crime face justice," she said.
Ingram was last seen operating a Ford Ranger utility with New South Wales registration DM-07-GZ. The vehicle features council signage, a metal tray back, high-visibility markings on the sides, and an emergency light bar on the roof. He is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, approximately 165cm to 170cm tall, with a medium build, short dark hair, and brown eyes.
