Australian brides have a new reason to celebrate as homegrown jewellery brand Kate & Kole, renowned for its standout engagement rings and delicate designs, has launched its very first bridal collection. The Sydney-based fine jewellery label, which specialises in one-of-a-kind pieces crafted from recycled gold and lab-grown diamonds, released the bridal edit on May 7, marking a significant expansion into the wedding market.

The new collection, named Nouve, features five exclusive pieces tailored for the big day and beyond. According to Sara Spence, co-founder of Kate & Kole, the edit was created for a specific kind of bride—one who opts for a slip dress and seeks a second look that feels considered rather than overdressed. Key Pieces in the Collection
The designs showcase elongated pear-cut lab-grown diamonds, each set in precise three-talon claw settings. Inspired by the brand's popular Duet engagement ring, the Nouve Duet Elongated Pear Engagement Ring retails from $9,690 in 18ct yellow gold. Spence notes, "The Duet ring holds a special place for me. It's one of those designs where the proportions and symmetry just clicked. Bringing the elongated pear into that same logic felt like a natural evolution."
Another standout is the Nouve Lariat, an elongated pear lab-grown diamond body chain priced from $5,990. Designed to complement low-cut back or deep V necklines, it is gently suspended from a fine chain. "The Lariat is the piece I'm most excited about," says Spence. "There's something about a single diamond suspended mid-chest or mid-back that feels genuinely modern. Paired with a low-back gown, it's a complete look."
Earrings for Every Style
The collection also includes three earring options to suit different preferences. The Nouve Drops, from $18,990, feature 3-carat elongated pear-cut diamonds with a flexible joint for natural movement. "The drop earrings look incredible when you're still," Spence remarks, "and even better when you're dancing." For a simpler style, the Nouve Studs offer striking pear-cut 2-carat lab-grown diamonds from $7,590, while the Nouve Hooks, from $2,990, provide a light and easy-to-wear option.
International Expansion and Availability
The launch of the Nouve bridal edit coincides with Kate & Kole's international expansion, as the brand makes its first retail appearance in New York at the We Wear Australian concept store in Soho. This move aligns with New York Bridal Fashion Week, where the Kate & Kole team will be present. The collection is now available for purchase online, offering brides worldwide access to these sustainable and elegant pieces.
