Jules Neale has revealed she is searching for her forever home in Perth, several months after her high-profile split from Brisbane Lions player Lachie Neale.
Return to Perth
Jules returned to Perth in January after relocating to Queensland more than seven years ago to support Lachie's football career. She is now living in Western Australia with her two children, Piper, 4, and Freddie, 1, following the breakdown of their relationship. The split was triggered by allegations that Lachie had an affair with Jules' friend Tess Crosley.
New Chapter Begins
While attending Australian Fashion Week in Sydney, which began on Monday, Jules shared her house-hunting plans. "It's the beginning of our next chapter," she told the Herald Sun. "We're still living with my parents at the moment, which has been really nice. They're a huge support, and so helpful with the kids, letting me do things like this. Their support means everything."
Staying with her parents has allowed Jules to be present for family milestones. "We had a nice Mother's Day at home with my parents and all my brothers and their wives and the kids together," she said. "It's so nice to be close to them again and seeing the cousins grow up together. I've missed all the births and baby showers, but I'm here now for the birthdays and everything to come, so it's special."
Brisbane Home Sold
The news comes after the Neales sold their five-bedroom family home in Brisbane at auction for $3.2 million earlier this year. They had purchased the spacious two-storey property in the affluent suburb of Seven Hills for $2.43 million during the COVID-19 pandemic. The auction was held in the living room, away from prying cameras.
Public Confirmation of Split
Swirling speculation about the Neales' marriage in December prompted Jules to confirm they had split. "I want to make it very clear that I am not 'working through' anything," she said in an Instagram statement. "I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way. All I can do now is to heal and do what's best for my children." In early January, Lachie, a two-time Brownlow medallist, also confirmed the separation and stepped down as the Lions co-captain.
