Television veteran and journalist Samantha Armytage is making further moves in the property world. The host of The Golden Bachelor on Channel 9 has listed her Southern Highlands renovator, a Moss Vale cottage, with a buyers' guide of $2.1 million to $2.3 million.
This follows Armytage selling her South Coast home earlier this year. Cotality records show that in March 2024, Armytage bought the Moss Vale property for $1.3 million. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom original 1960s-built home sits on 1922 square metres. It was reportedly the first time the property had changed hands since the 1960s, and Cotality records indicate the home was sold after 24 days on the market.
Inside the home are French doors, VJ panelled walls, and a combustion fireplace. The cottage also has a new roof, and the renovation opened up the kitchen and dining area. In March, Armytage sold her Hyams Beach home, which had been re-listed for sale earlier in 2026. The sale price is unknown, but the renovated home was listed via Expressions of Interest with a guide of $2.95 million to $3.1 million.
Previous property transactions
In 2024, news broke that Armytage's South Coast beach house had been withdrawn from the market. This came on the same day that the former Farmer Wants a Wife host confirmed her split from former husband of four years, Richard Lavender. Armytage first listed her holiday home at Hyams Beach in 2023. Located on a pristine stretch of coastline between Hyams Beach and Chinamans Beach, it had initially been listed with a price guide of $3.2 million.
The three-bedroom house at Hyams Beach boasts views of Jervis Bay and sits on 658 square metres. It has been utilised as a holiday rental property, commanding a nightly rate of $1200. Cotality records show the television host bought the home in 2018 for $1.765 million.
Cotality records also show that in 2020, Armytage sold her Burrawang weekender for $3.1 million, having bought it in 2017 for $2.2 million. In 2020, Armytage sold her three-bedroom North Bondi home for $3.15 million, which she had bought in 2014 for $2.15 million. Armytage also purchased a two-bedroom apartment at Rushcutters Bay for $1.575 million in 2021.
Armytage's property portfolio reflects her savvy investments in the real estate market, with each sale and purchase demonstrating her keen eye for prime locations and renovation potential.
