Instead of hiring professional party planners or buying expensive branded items, Jules took a do-it-yourself approach. She DIY'ed everything for Ollie's dinosaur slime party, from his outfit and personalised tumblers to the party bags and even the cake topper.

Jules confessed to 7YOU that she never expected to become "that mum" who goes all out. Despite not considering herself tech-savvy, she found the Cricut machine surprisingly easy to use.
"There is so much you can do on this machine, it blows my mind," she explained. For Ollie's dinosaur explorer outfit, she created a design in the Cricut Design Space app. The machine then cut the vinyl, which she ironed on. "Peel it back and you have a custom outfit for the birthday boy. I just feel like a wizard," she said.
While creating twenty-five personalised cups felt like a "big mountain" at the time, the result was worth the effort. The look of joy on Ollie's face made every minute worthwhile.
