Emergency Services Rush to Hamilton North After Serious Crash
Emergency crews were dispatched to a significant two-vehicle collision in the Newcastle suburb of Hamilton North on Wednesday night. The incident, which occurred around 10pm on November 12, 2025, resulted in one car flipping and coming to rest on its roof.
Scene of the Collision
The crash took place at the junction where Chatham Road meets Donald Street. Police, paramedics, and NSW Fire and Rescue crews all attended the scene to manage the situation and provide assistance to those involved.
Injuries and Hospitalisation
Despite the severity of the crash, which saw one vehicle roll, the outcomes could have been far worse. A spokesman for NSW Ambulance reported that two people were treated for minor injuries at the scene. One patient was subsequently transported to John Hunter Hospital for further medical assessment and care.
Newcastle Police have confirmed that an investigation into the circumstances leading up to the collision is now underway. They are appealing to the public for any information that could assist their inquiries.
