A young woman has tragically lost her life following a vicious dog attack in the remote Kimberley town of Fitzroy Crossing. A man was also injured in the incident, which involved two dogs.
Police Respond to Midday Attack
Police officers were called to the scene in Fitzroy Crossing, approximately 400 kilometres east of Broome, around 12pm on Sunday, 1 December 2025. Upon arrival, they discovered a woman in her 20s who was deceased. A man, also in his 20s, was found with injuries sustained during the attack.
The injured man was transported to Fitzroy Crossing Hospital for treatment. Authorities have confirmed his injuries are non-life-threatening.
