Young boy found alone on Christmas Day in Sydney's southwest

Police are urgently appealing for public help after a young boy was found wandering by himself on a suburban street in Sydney's southwest on Christmas Day.

Christmas Morning Discovery

The child was located on Mt Annan Drive at Mt Annan at approximately 10.10am on Thursday, December 25th. He was alone and not accompanied by any parents or guardians.

Description of the Child

The boy is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about three years old, and approximately 90cm tall. He has a small build and distinctive strawberry blond hair.

When found, he was wearing a black Nike T-shirt and a nappy, and was not wearing any shoes.

Ongoing Search for Family

Officers have spoken with residents in the area and members of the public but have so far been unable to locate the child's parents or carers. The search is ongoing, and authorities are deeply concerned for the boy's welfare.
