Guy Sebastian Hints at Son Archie Joining Him on National Tour
Guy Sebastian May Bring Son Archie on Tour as Special Guest

Australian music icon Guy Sebastian is preparing for his eagerly awaited national tour, with exciting hints that a very special guest might join him on stage. The former Australian Idol champion is set to launch the tour in April, featuring a mix of his greatest hits and new songs from his latest album, 100 Times Around The Sun.

Family Duet Buzz

Fans are abuzz with speculation about a potential family performance. Sebastian revealed on Nova's Melbourne radio show Jase & Lauren that he hopes to bring his youngest son, Archie, into the spotlight during the tour. "I'm going to try to pull up Archie on tour ... his voice, man, like it keeps blowing me away, and it's only getting better," Sebastian shared enthusiastically.

He suggested he might fly Archie to Melbourne for shows at Margaret Court Arena in May, which would mark the first live on-stage duet between father and son. Sebastian and his wife Jules are parents to two sons, Hudson, aged 13, and Archie, aged 11.

Archie's Vocal Talent

Archie has already demonstrated he inherited his father's singing prowess, regularly posting clips on Instagram, managed by his mother. In one notable video, he belts out Golden from the popular Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters, garnering hundreds of admiring comments from fans impressed by his vocal abilities.

Tour Preparation and Fitness

During the radio interview, Sebastian also discussed his intensified fitness routine to meet the physical demands of touring. When asked if he was emulating Taylor Swift's rigorous rehearsal methods, which include running on a treadmill while practicing, Sebastian laughed. "I think it's hilarious when I'm out of breath on stage," he joked, highlighting his down-to-earth approach.

Starstruck by Celine Dion

The chart-topping singer opened up about a recent starstruck moment when music legend Celine Dion mentioned in a TikTok video that she listens to his songs and inquired about a potential collaboration. "Never met her but you got to understand, I'm not saying this just because she has said something about me," Sebastian explained. "I always refer to Celine as the purest singer that's ever existed. Her voice. It's just so pure, her control. And when you see her live, it's just another world of vocal control. Like, as a singer, you're like, she's the queen."

Focus on Music Career

Sebastian, who spent six seasons as a coach on Seven Network's hit reality TV series The Voice, announced in October last year that he was stepping back from that role to concentrate on his own music. This tour represents a significant milestone in his renewed artistic journey, blending family moments with professional milestones.
