Home and Away Drops Exciting 2026 Teaser Featuring New Cast Additions
A fresh promotional trailer for the long-running Australian television series Home and Away has been released, offering fans an early preview of two new characters set to arrive in Summer Bay in 2026. The 90-second teaser, narrated by veteran actor Ray Meagher in his iconic role as Alf Stewart, provides a montage of upcoming storylines and introduces the latest faces joining the cast.
Meet the Newcomers: A Doctor and a Police Recruit
The promo highlights Nicole da Silva, known for her role in Wentworth, who will be playing Dr. Amelia Carlisle, a new medical professional in the Bay. Additionally, newcomer Rocco Forrester-Sach joins the show as Richie Brezniak, a Yabbie Creek police recruit. An official release suggests Richie's enthusiastic approach may challenge Senior Constable Cash Newman, portrayed by Nicholas Cartwright, and he could also spark romantic interest off-duty with Abby Fowler, played by Hailey Pinto.
Drama and Romance Unfold in Summer Bay
Beyond the new characters, the teaser hints at turbulent times ahead for existing favorites. Tane Parata (Ethan Brown) is shown recovering in hospital after an attack, with a concerned Mackenzie (Emily Weir) keeping watch by his bedside. However, it's not all bleak—single mother Harper Matheson (Jessica Redmayne) appears to find new love, sharing a romantic kiss on the beach with an unidentified character.
Home and Away continues to air at 7:00 PM Monday to Thursday on Seven and 7plus, promising more gripping storylines for viewers in the coming year.
