Ed Sheeran Perth Concert Guide: Times, Transport, and Food

British superstar Ed Sheeran is opening the Australian leg of his Loop Tour in Perth this weekend with two concerts at Optus Stadium on Saturday and Sunday night.

Your concert ticket includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours either side of each day's concert. Simply show your event ticket to the driver or inspector if asked. Trains on the Armadale and Thornlie-Cockburn lines will stop at Perth Stadium Station throughout the day, with direct trains on the Yanchep and Mandurah lines before and after each show. Trains on the direct Fremantle line will only operate post-show. Replacement buses will run between Midland and Bassendean stations due to a partial line shutdown. The Suburban Event Bus Network will operate between 4pm and 7pm on both days, and for 45 minutes after the concert's conclusion. The Red CAT will also be running from West Perth via Perth CBD to Matagarup Bridge.

Motorists should allow extra travel time, especially during afternoon peak, as delays are expected. In the stadium precinct, be aware of heavy foot traffic and frequently stopping vehicles.

Unlike recent touring acts AC/DC and Metallica, a pop-up merch store outside the venue has not been planned. Instead, fans can purchase merchandise and themed paraphernalia in and around Optus Stadium from vendors.

While tickets to both shows are yet to sell out, Frontier Touring expects upwards of 55,000 fans to attend each performance. Restricted view tickets remain available from $69.90. Sheeran holds the record for the largest ticketed event in WA, with 73,092 attendees at his previous Optus Stadium show on March 12, 2023. He is also the first artist to have played a concert at the venue, bringing his Divide Tour in March 2018.

For food, Optus Stadium offers a plate-sized Yorkshire pudding wrap with sliced roast beef, mash potato, and gravy, named The Sheeran, available from Pop up 101, Pop up East and South floor bars, priced at $25.
