British reality television star Jake Hall has passed away at the age of 35 following a tragic freak accident while on holiday in Spain. The former model and fashion designer, best known for his appearance on the popular series The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE), suffered fatal head injuries at a villa in Majorca, according to reports from The Sun.

The UK publication reported that Hall struck his head on a glass door during what was described as a "wild party." He was later discovered in a pool of blood at the property. Neighbours reportedly heard loud noises strong enough to make the walls vibrate just hours before police arrived at the villa. One neighbour told local newspaper Ultima Hora that the group "hadn't been causing problems" and seemed "relatively normal," though they admitted being frightened by the appearance of one group member.

A spokesperson for the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office stated: "We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities." The Spanish Civil Guard told the BBC that they are investigating the incident, which "appears to be an accidental death." The incident occurred in Santa Margarita, Majorca, on Wednesday, and authorities are awaiting the results of an autopsy.

Hall frequently spent time on the Spanish island, where he owned a second home that served as a base for both work and leisure. Earlier this week, he shared family pictures and updates from his trip on Instagram, also showcasing his recent work as an artist. Hours before his death, he posted a message on Instagram showing him painting and taking in the Spanish scenery. The caption read: "Life is b******* sometimes but I'm gonna try remember the good things – looking through things – I'm just making art – in many forms."

Hall leaves behind an eight-year-old daughter, River, from his previous relationship with The Real Housewives Of Cheshire star Misse Beqiri. A statement from Beqiri's talent agent said: "At this time, Misse's focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this devastating loss. The family are asking for privacy, compassion and respect while they grieve privately."
