Australian television star Luke Jacobz and his partner Raychel have announced the arrival of their second child, sharing the joyful family news with sweet Instagram photos that have delighted fans across the country.
A Meaningful Name and Heartfelt Announcement
The Home and Away actor, best known for his role as Angelo Rosetta, revealed they've welcomed a baby boy named John James Scott. Jacobz shared the emotional meaning behind the name, explaining it honours both their fathers and an uncle.
"We named him after my Dad, Raychel's Dad and uncle," the 37-year-old actor wrote. "Named after the men who helped shape both our lives so their legacy can live on."
Overcoming Fertility Challenges
In a particularly moving part of his announcement, Jacobz disclosed that their newborn was conceived naturally following years of IVF treatments. This revelation adds extra significance to the birth, coming after what was clearly a challenging fertility journey for the couple.
The actor paid a powerful tribute to his wife, praising her strength and determination throughout the pregnancy. "Raychel, your bravery, love, true grit and determination to give our Maisie a best friend for life is nothing short of incredible," he wrote.
