Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Night: Glamour, Police & a Hollywood Bash
Harry & Meghan's Hollywood night ends with police

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, experienced a night of two distinct halves in Los Angeles, moving from a poised charity gala to a Hollywood birthday party that ultimately required police intervention.

An Elegant Start for a Worthy Cause

The evening of Saturday, November 8, began on a high note for the royal couple. They were among the A-list guests at the Baby2Baby gala in West Hollywood, a prestigious charity event dedicated to providing essential items for families in need.

Meghan, 44, captivated onlookers in a sophisticated, floor-length black gown. She was photographed alongside her close friend, tennis legend Serena Williams, as well as the non-profit's co-CEOs, Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein. Prince Harry, 41, looked every bit the polished royal, mingling with guests at the fundraiser.

A Star-Studded Celebration and an Unexpected Turn

Later that same night, the Sussexes headed to a lavish James Bond-themed party to celebrate reality TV matriarch Kris Jenner's 70th birthday. The extravagant affair was held at the multi-million dollar Beverly Hills mansion of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and was orchestrated by Jenner's six children.

Harry adhered to the black-tie dress code in a classic tuxedo and bow tie, also sporting a traditional poppy pin ahead of Remembrance Day. The guest list was a who's who of Hollywood and business elite, including Oprah Winfrey, Adele, Mariah Carey, and Mark Zuckerberg.

While RnB superstar Bruno Mars entertained the crowd, the festivities grew too loud for the exclusive neighbourhood. According to reports from TMZ, local residents made multiple noise complaints about the "loud music and disturbances," prompting the police to visit the property.

Police Intervention and an Early Exit

Officers initially issued a warning after speaking with security. However, they were forced to return to the scene when it was discovered that large decorative hedges, set up for the party, were illegally blocking the street without a permit.

The fake dividers had to be removed, and shortly after, dozens of guests, including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, were seen departing the celebration.

This glamorous outing comes amid speculation about Meghan's career, with reports suggesting a return to acting eight years after leaving her role on Suits. She is reportedly set to play herself in the new film Close Personal Friends alongside stars like Brie Larson and Henry Golding.
