Gladiators Star 'Giant' Claims Firing Over OnlyFans Relationship
Gladiators Star Giant Fired Over OnlyFans Romance

Jamie Bigg, the UK television personality known as 'Giant' on the BBC series Gladiators, has claimed he was fired from the show due to his relationship with OnlyFans creator Taylor Ryan. The 30-year-old star spoke out on Good Morning Britain just days after being let go, defending his romance with the adult entertainer.

Ultimatum Over Relationship

Bigg revealed that producers gave him an ultimatum: choose between his TV career or his girlfriend. He stated that he was not comfortable with the decision, as it conflicted with his personal values. 'I think it's very important that fans of the show understand that Giant is a character on that show, and Jamie is a person that has a private relationship,' he said. 'I feel that there's a big injustice here for the fans of the show that haven't been given a voice or a decision on this matter.'

Public Romance Sparks Controversy

The couple had kept their relationship private until recently, but decided to go public. Bigg believes this move did not sit well with BBC executives. 'Moving forwards with our relationship, we expressed a want to become more public because at that point we weren't on social media together,' he explained. 'That's what sparked conversations behind closed doors, and we didn't get any real information off the back of that other than your contract's not being renewed for season four.'

Ryan, who typically appears scantily clad on social media, dressed modestly for the TV appearance, wearing loose pants and a casual sweater while supporting her boyfriend.

BBC's Response

Good Morning Britain obtained a statement from the BBC and production company Hungry Bear Media, which read: 'After three formidable series, Giant is leaving Gladiators. We'd like to thank him for everything he has contributed to the show and wish him well for the future.' The statement offered little comfort to Bigg and his fans.

Bigg announced his departure on social media last week, expressing gratitude for his time on the show and hoping to spark a healthy conversation about relationships. 'We believe this is the first step towards positive change and important conversations. Love is love, right?' he said. 'To everyone supporting us right now, I truly appreciate it. It means a lot.'
