The notorious Bang Bus, the signature vehicle of controversial OnlyFans star Bonnie Blue, has broken down on a Gold Coast street, creating a stir as Schoolies celebrations got underway.
Mechanical Failure Halts Infamous Van
The bus, which is a central feature in the adult entertainer's online content, had been spotted driving around Surfers Paradise in the days leading up to the incident. Its presence sparked speculation among Schoolies revellers that Bonnie Blue herself was in town. However, the excitement was cut short when the vehicle experienced a mechanical failure.
The breakdown occurred on View Avenue in Surfers Paradise on the afternoon of Friday, November 21. A member of Blue's team, who had been driving the bus, informed police that the vehicle was awaiting a tow truck due to a steering failure. Queensland Police confirmed they attended the scene but issued no infringements.
Social Media Erupts with Jokes and Speculation
Footage of the recognisable van being lifted onto a tow truck quickly went viral on social media platforms like TikTok. The online reaction was swift and filled with humour and wild speculation.
One popular post was captioned, "No way the Bang Bus broke down," while commenters seized the opportunity for jokes. "Hope it wasn't rear ended," one user quipped. Another added, "Even the engine's getting blown..." A third simply wrote, "Guess it's not banging anymore."
The online rumour mill also went into overdrive, with some falsely claiming that Blue had been arrested at the scene, a claim firmly denied by police reports.
Bonnie Blue Absent from Australian Schoolies
Despite the bus's presence, Bonnie Blue is not currently in Australia. The 26-year-old star was banned from the country following the backlash from her 2024 Schoolies antics. She is instead spending the week in Bali, where a separate Schoolies event is taking place.
In a recent interview, Blue confirmed she still had plans to engage with Australian graduates, hinting that the Bang Bus's arrival was part of a larger, interactive experience for those on the Gold Coast. She also addressed disturbing rumours that vials of her saliva would be sold at the event, clarifying that if anything were to be distributed, it would be free.
The tow truck company, Gold Coast Tow Trucks, attended the breakdown call, bringing the short-lived but memorable appearance of the Bang Bus on Gold Coast streets to an end.
