Adelaide Rapper SkuX Denied Bail on Armed Robbery Charges

Adelaide rap artist Logan Cudarans, who performs under the name SkuX, will remain in custody after appearing in court on serious armed robbery charges. The 20-year-old musician is accused of using a firearm to commit at least two armed robberies, allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of jewellery and cash.

Court Appearance and Allegations

Police presented the allegations in court on Thursday, just 24 hours after Cudarans voluntarily surrendered at Elizabeth Police Station. According to authorities, Cudarans allegedly carried out the robberies before flying to the Gold Coast, which led to an arrest warrant being issued.

Bail Hearing Details

During the court proceedings, Cudarans' lawyer argued that his client was unaware that South Australian Police were seeking him when he travelled interstate. The defence pushed for bail, emphasising that Cudarans needed to continue his work as an artist and entertainer.

However, police strongly opposed his release, describing him as a flight risk with criminal connections in other states and “easy access to weapons.” The magistrate initially granted bail with strict conditions, but prosecutors immediately sought a review, resulting in Cudarans remaining in custody for the time being.
