Police Launch Manhunt for Six Alleged Fugitives in Illawarra Region
Authorities in New South Wales are intensifying efforts to locate six individuals who are currently evading police capture. The group, comprising four men and two women, faces allegations of serious crimes including domestic violence and fraud. Officers from the Wollongong Police District have issued public appeals for information regarding their whereabouts.
Details of the Wanted Individuals and Their Alleged Offences
The fugitives range in age from 34 to 46 years old, with police confirming active warrants for their arrests. Jarrod Buckley, 34, is sought in connection with alleged domestic violence incidents and is known to frequent Flinders, as well as western Sydney areas such as Glendening and Schofields. Stephen Parsons, 38, also accused of domestic violence offences, has been spotted in Wollongong and Port Kembla.
Nathan Guerin, 36, is another alleged domestic violence offender on the run, with ties to Bellambi and surrounding suburbs. Described as Caucasian with a thin build and tanned complexion, he stands between 160 to 165 centimetres tall with brown hair and brown eyes. Melissa Bright, 46, faces charges of break and enter and fraud, and is known to frequent Warrawong and its environs.
Additional Suspects and Police Investigations
Wollongong police are conducting a warrant program targeting two additional alleged offenders, though specific charges have not been disclosed publicly. Kane Ian Broadbent, 35, is wanted and has connections to Bellambi, Woonona, and Corrimal. He is described as Caucasian with an olive complexion, medium build, and height of 185 to 190cm, with brown hair, brown eyes, and possibly unshaven.
Jessica Gallagher, 36, is also subject to a warrant, with known haunts including Wollongong and Bellambi. A police spokesperson stated, "Officers from Wollongong Police District have conducted numerous inquiries into her whereabouts but have been unable to locate her." She is Caucasian with a fair complexion, thin build, 165 to 170cm tall, brown hair, and hazel eyes.
