Police in New South Wales have launched a public appeal for information as they hunt for two fugitives believed to be frequenting four specific suburbs in the Illawarra region. The men are wanted in connection with separate alleged criminal offences.

Wanted Men and Their Alleged Crimes

Dylan Arfanis, aged 28, is wanted on allegations of domestic violence. His case is part of a targeted statewide police operation known as Operation Amarok, which focuses on offenders related to domestic and family violence. A spokesperson for the NSW Police confirmed that despite numerous inquiries by officers from the Wollongong Police District, Arfanis has so far evaded capture.

The police have disclosed that Arfanis is known to frequent the suburbs of Corrimal, Coniston, and Warrawong. He is described as Caucasian with a fair complexion and a thin build. He is approximately 165-170cm tall and has black hair and black eyes.

Second Fugitive Sought for Traffic Offences

The second individual being sought is Lee Ping, 42, who is wanted for alleged traffic offences. Ping is also described as Caucasian with a thin build and fair complexion. He stands at a similar height of 165-170cm and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Police intelligence indicates that Lee Ping is known to frequent the suburb of Bellambi. The combined police efforts highlight at least a dozen people currently on the run in the region after their alleged involvement in various crimes.

Appeal to the Public

Authorities are urging anyone in the community who has information on the whereabouts of Dylan Arfanis, Lee Ping, or any other wanted person to come forward. Information can be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Public assistance is considered vital in helping police locate these individuals and address the alleged offences.
