Westin Perth and Hilton Garden Inn Busselton Crowned WA's Premier Hotels at AHA Awards
In a glittering ceremony that celebrated the pinnacle of hospitality excellence, two standout hotels have been honoured as the best in Western Australia at this year's AHA Accommodation Awards for Excellence. The prestigious event, held on Monday at the Devil's Lair Gala Ball within The Westin Perth, saw industry leaders and guests gather to recognise outstanding achievements across the state's accommodation sector.
Major Award Winners Announced
The Westin Perth secured the title of WA's best metro accommodation hotel, while the Hilton Garden Inn Busselton was awarded WA's best regional accommodation hotel. These victories placed them ahead of renowned competitors such as Crown Perth and The Ritz-Carlton, underscoring their exceptional standards in service and management.
Nathan Frost, vice president of operations for Accor Western Australia and Tasmania, received a distinguished accolade with his induction into the Accommodation Industry Hall of Fame. This recognition highlights his significant contributions and leadership within the hospitality field.

Bradley Woods, chief executive of AHA WA, emphasised that the awards, which span over 30 categories, showcase the professionalism, resilience, and innovation driving WA's accommodation industry. "These awards recognise the exceptional people and properties delivering world-class hospitality across our state," he stated.
Woods further noted that Western Australia's accommodation sector is experiencing robust growth, with Perth hotels achieving average occupancy rates significantly above the national average. Visitor numbers across the state have also reached record levels, reflecting a vibrant tourism landscape.
From luxury city establishments to family-friendly regional venues, the award winners are setting benchmarks by providing outstanding service, creating memorable experiences, and demonstrating the innovation that keeps WA at the forefront of Australian tourism.

- Crown Towers Perth was honoured with the hotel management team award, recognising its exemplary leadership and operational efficiency.
- The Ritz-Carlton Perth's bar, Songbird, took home the accommodation hotel bar award, celebrated for its exceptional offerings and ambiance.
- Wildflower at Como The Treasury claimed the accommodation hotel wine list award, marking its third consecutive win in this category, a testament to its consistent excellence.
