Swan Valley Show 2026: Family Fun, Food, Equestrian

To Sandgropers, the Swan Valley is a little slice of heaven: impeccable wine tastings, rolling vineyards and bucolic landscapes just a short drive from Perth. For some, it’s an escape. For others, it’s home.

A Celebration of the Swan Valley

To celebrate the Swan Valley and the special place it holds in our hearts, the WA State Equestrian Centre will transform into a vibrant playground, filled with a plethora of experiences that are all imbued with the country charm we’ve grown to love. Showgoers are invited to pop on their boots and step into the arena for a different sort of horsing around: a day dedicated to making memories with loved ones.

“The show is going to be a fantastic opportunity to showcase what the Swan Valley offers for residents and visitors alike,” said City of Swan Mayor Tanya Richardson.

“We’re looking forward to celebrating everything that makes the Swan Valley special. That includes everything from world-class local wines and delicious produce, to unique tourism experiences for all the family,” she said.

What to Do

If you’re the type who likes to get involved in the action, there’s plenty on to please your attention span. Amusement rides, classic show bags, and line dancing lessons are just a few of the attractions. The show’s competitions span from arts and crafts to home cooking and gardening, giving all a chance to show off your skills. For something a touch slower, meander through market stalls where local makers and producers are showcasing their local goods. And for younger showgoers, the animal farm offers a nice way to get up close with some of their favourite animals.

What to See

There will be a lot of high-energy entertainment, like monster truck rides and motorbike stunts. Championship showjumping and wood carving demonstrations offer a quieter glimpse into some of the town’s traditions. Throw in some live music and line-dancing and you’ve got the whole afternoon sorted.

What to Eat

It wouldn’t be a day out in the Swan Valley without a delicious morsel in hand. Food trucks and local producers will be dotted throughout the grounds, serving up everything from quick bites to more indulgent treats. Grab something on the go or settle in with a drink from the licensed bar area for the clash between West Coast and Collingwood on the big screen.

“We’re incredibly proud to be bringing the Swan Valley Show to life,” said Mayor Richardson.
