Exmouth Adventure Co has launched an immersive new three-day, two-night guided experience designed to reveal the very heart of Western Australia's World Heritage-listed coast. The Essence of Ningaloo tour, set to begin in April 2026, promises a deeper connection with the stunning contrast between the red gorges of Cape Range National Park and the turquoise waters of Ningaloo Reef.
An Immersive Ningaloo Experience
This new multi-day adventure is crafted for travellers seeking more than just a sightseeing trip. Over three days, participants are guided through a series of unforgettable activities. These include guided gorge walks through Yardie Creek and Mandu Mandu Gorges, with routes available for various fitness levels. The snorkelling component explores vibrant coral gardens at locations like Turquoise Bay, Lakeside, Osprey Bay, or Oyster Stacks.
Evenings are spent at the company's well-appointed base camp, where guests can relax under a blanket of stars and enjoy hearty meals. The tour also weaves in cultural and natural education with visits to the Milyering Discovery Centre, Jurabi Turtle Centre, and Vlaming Head Lighthouse.
Tour Details and Pricing
Hal Paine, founder and director of Exmouth Adventure Co, says the tour captures the true spirit of the region. "It's an opportunity to experience the World Heritage-listed coast at a slower pace, where every walk, snorkel and sunset tells a story," Paine remarked.
The Essence of Ningaloo tour will run from April 17 to October 2026. Pricing is set at $1260 per adult and $1135 per child. A family package for two adults and two children costs $4310, with any additional child priced at $1020. Bookings are currently open through the company's official website.
A Company Built on Passion
Exmouth Adventure Co's roots trace back to Capricorn Seakayaking, which was founded in Exmouth. Manager and senior guide Neri Grieve recalls the company's humble beginnings. "Our very first sea kayak tours launched in 1999, shortly after cyclone Vance reshaped the coastline and community," Grieve said.
What started as a passion for paddling has blossomed into a leading eco-adventure company. They specialise in small-group, low-impact tours with a mission to inspire meaningful connections between people and place. The company now offers a diverse portfolio, from half-day excursions to multi-day expeditions.
Other Popular Tour Options
For those with less time, Exmouth Adventure Co provides several other acclaimed tours. The year-round, half-day Coral by Kayak tour explores the Tantabiddi Sanctuary Zone and includes snorkelling, costing from $165 for adults.
The full-day Ningaloo in a Day tour packs a guided Yardie Creek walk, a snorkel at Turquoise Bay, and visits to key landmarks into an eight-hour adventure, priced from $245 per adult. The company also hires out kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkelling gear from its Exmouth base.
