Australian shoppers eager for a post-Christmas bargain have a major destination this year, with homewares giant Pillow Talk launching a huge Boxing Day sale featuring discounts of up to 50 per cent.
Massive Discounts Across Bedding and Homewares
The retailer's preview sale is already underway, offering savvy customers an early chance to save. The standout offer is 50 per cent off selected quilt cover sets, including popular lines like Costa Del Mar, Palmilla, and Cloud Catcher.
From December 26, the full-scale Boxing Day event begins, with half-price items from dozens of major brands. Among the top deals is a buy-one-get-one-free offer on selected Hilton sheet sets, including the 500TC Cotton Sateen and Egyptian Cotton ranges.
Pillow Talk is slashing prices on more than 1,000 items in total. A highlight is the Adria Quilt Cover Set, which will be reduced to just $69.95 for a Queen size. This reversible set, made from breathable cotton, features a textured background and a vertical stripe design for versatile styling.
Furniture, Beach Gear and Extended Summer Savings
The discounts extend far beyond bedding. Shoppers can also find 30 per cent off hundreds of cushions and 40 per cent off all full-price beach categories, encompassing towels, cabanas, and complete beach sets. Furthermore, 30 per cent off furniture and rugs (excluding clearance items) means deals on stools, occasional chairs, ottomans, dining chairs, and more.
For those who can hold out, the savings intensify in the new year. From January 5, Pillow Talk's Summer Sale kicks off, adding more styles and continuing the discounts until January 18. This phase will include up to 50 per cent off selected towels, and 30 per cent off Wall Art, Mirrors, and Lamps.
Top five picks from the sale include:

- 30/70 Duck Down Feather Queen Pillow (down to $90.95)

Why Boxing Day is a Major Shopping Event
Boxing Day, falling on Friday, December 26 this year, has become one of the most anticipated retail events in the Australian calendar. Traditionally a time for retailers to clear old stock, it now rivals Black Friday and Cyber Monday for generating major bargains and driving consumer spending before the year's end. Sales typically continue throughout January, offering an extended window for discounted shopping.
