Residents in Perth's south will soon have more access to professional haircare with two new Oz Hair and Beauty stores opening in the area this week.
The family-owned national retailer — which already has a store in Claremont Quarter — will expand into Mandurah and Rockingham following an increase in demand from WA customers.
The first store will open at Mandurah Forum on Thursday, followed by a second location at Rockingham Centre on Saturday.
The new stores will bring more than 100 salon-standard hair and beauty brands into Perth's south, including Kerastase, Redken, Wella and Nak Hair alongside in-store experts set to offer customised advice.
Oz Hair and Beauty co-owner and chief executive Anthony Nappa said the expansion was driven by strong demand from local shoppers, with many placing orders online or travelling further north to Claremont.
“Opening in Mandurah and Rockingham is about making that experience more accessible - giving people the chance to come in-store, get tailored advice and leave with the right products straight away,” he said.
“Each new store creates opportunities for local teams, from retail assistants through to management.
“We’re focused on building knowledgeable teams who can offer real expertise, so it’s a great opportunity for people interested in hair and beauty to step into the industry.
“WA has always been a priority market for us. These stores are about creating a destination - somewhere people can come for real expertise, not just to pick something off the shelf.”
Oz Hair and Beauty was established in 1986 in Sydney and have since opened more than 30 stores across Australia in the past three years.
