Bunnings Opens Massive Five-Storey Store in Frenchs Forest

Bunnings has opened its latest store in Frenchs Forest, North Sydney, which is now the fourth-largest Bunnings in Australia by floor plan. The five-storey warehouse spans over 20,000 square metres, featuring three floors of retail and two floors of parking with more than 400 car spaces.

The store opened on Monday after two years of construction and nearly five years since plans were approved by the Northern Beaches Council. Bunnings has described the new store as “more advanced” with several new features, including one of the biggest trade and timber yards in the country.

Other highlights include five trade drive-through lanes, a six-aisle tool shop, a new kitchen design centre concept, the latest café design, a rooftop nursery, and the first Beaumont Tiles ‘store-in-store’ concept. The store also incorporates sustainability measures such as solar panels, rainwater storage, and a recycled water system for the plant nursery.
