The real estate agent behind the historic deal, Daryan Abdullah of Harcourts Initiative, confirmed the sale and noted the suburb's shifting identity. He observed that the old post-war homes on large blocks are increasingly being replaced by new developments, leading to a change in the suburb's fabric.
"There is less and less State housing and more and more development as time goes on," Mr Abdullah stated. "The (negative) perception is still lingering, but it is changing."
