Police have been called to two traffic incidents in Perth on Monday evening, causing significant delays for commuters heading home from work.
Crash on Great Eastern Highway in Burswood
A crash on Great Eastern Highway eastbound after Burswood Road in Burswood was reported by Main Roads at 4:57pm. The left lane has been blocked, and traffic is slow leading up to the incident site. Police are on the scene. Main Roads has reminded drivers to exercise caution if driving in the area.
Road closures in High Wycombe
Further east, a road crash has closed Abernethy Road in both directions between Dundas Drive and Yagine Close in High Wycombe, as of 4:52pm. Kalamunda Road has also been closed in both directions, between Stirling Crescent and the Great Eastern Highway bypass. There is heavy congestion and emergency services are on site.
